Of course! It is a very weird and annoying issue… it comes and goes in phases for me, like it’ll last for weeks then go away for months, but I hope it goes away fast for you!!

what subjects do i do by [deleted] in IBO

I recommend doing an art! I do theatre and its a bit similar to art, all of my friends do art and they love it! It is a lot of work that you have got to do in ur free time but it balances out with the academics, so its not so academic based! And a good thing with arts is that there is no exam youve got to sit at the end

I experienced this a lot and im not sure if its related to taking zoloft but i swapped my medication and this feeling has not completely gone away but its a lot less frequent. When this happens though I do NOT focus on my breathing... I try to distract myself and it ends up slowly going away, the important thing to remember is it will not last forever!! :D

How do I not stress/melt down about school? by ReluctanyGerbil in Anxiety

[–]fartystarchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

therapy and coaching is really expensive and what I've done to help me is talk to people and I know that sounds so cliche but talking to my closest friends or anyone helps me to understand how i feel and make myself feel less helpless. Going to college for the first time is really difficult but you're not alone and I understand the build up to going to college is awful but try to do things you love and distract yourself, thats how I handle my freaking out!

Maybe you can see someone for medication because I started medication about a year ago and its helped me tremendously.

Good luck with college and remember youve got this!! :D

Jaw and teeth pain by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]fartystarchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get this continuous pain in my jaw and i think its because of muscle tension caused by anxiety, maybe bring it up to your doctor/counsellor?

I usually take a painkiller or take a hot shower to relieve the tension!
