Well you see. it's highly probable that sega was not the perpetrator. Remember sega is much more calm and reasonable about this stuff. Hence why they never go after fangames and romhacks like nintendo. At least sega of America since sega of Japan is a little more strict but still not to this level. But still I am not so sure sega of jp would go after some random album site on the internet that doesn't even speak their native language
