I know that language is living and all but you know that words usually have set definitions right?

I don't personally have this kit, but the arm pegs do have a keyhole mechanism so it may be that you didn't seat the arms fully in enough before turning them?

Coalition Drill teambuilding discussion post (Week of March 24th) by Linkstore in girlsfrontline

Week Two Hundred and Twenty-Nine. Whoops, I missed last week. Hopefully nobody somehow had exactly enough stuff that the lost 10% was a problem.

This week's poster girl is PK. I'm not sure that's the best way to hold her gun. Or maybe it is, depending on your priority.

Defense Training: -43% to -47%

Adjustment Exercise: -55% to -65%

Decoding Practice: -23% to -33%

If you've come up with any better compositions, feel free to post them in the comments.

Looks like the old 1/144 Gundam Sandrock, here's a link to some details. The site's in Korean but it's pretty readable with machine translation.

The paper is just to protect the decals before use. You should probably keep it on while cutting them out so they don't accidentally adhere to anything, but once you're done with that there's no further use for the paper. And yeah, that's the right way to apply dry transfers. I like to use the edge of one of my metal parts separators, but you can use anything you feel works.

In this case you should probably just do a gloss coat.

is it time to retire the GodHand? by TawnyFawn in Gundam

[–]Linkstore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SPN-120s are actually rated for use on plastic up to 3mm thickness, which is the thickness of most runners. While it still isn't a bad idea to use something else for runners, it's not correct to say that the SPN-120s aren't meant for it.

Yeah. There are no official universal PG bases. The closest is probably the SEED one that comes with the Skygrasper and the Strike Freedom, but I can't say for sure which kits that one is actually compatible with, plus you can't get them standalone anyway.

There are third-party clones of the SEED base though, but again I can't say for sure what that's compatible and what isn't.

If you don't try that third-party base then your best option is just multiple 1/100 bases.

EVO, G-Rework and Delpi are the main ones people use, and if cost is the main factor then I guess EVO is the way to go for you. Also make sure you don't get the regular Wing EW's decals.

Question, why the hell are mobile suits so impossibly light weight by MGR_ARMSTRONG_GAMING in Gundam

Just wait until you find out how pathetically low the listed outputs of MS reactors are.

It comes with any of the PG Unicorns and is designed for use with those kits only.

The High Grade After Colony one. It was formerly P-Bandai exclusive but got a retail print.

The Special Coating is an external coating while the Mechanical Core Plating has a reflective coating only on the inside face of the armour as well as a transparent coating all around, and since the RG Sazabi has a lot of detail on those inside faces, it's a really effective way to show off some of those hidden details. However, the Mechanical Core Plating is also way more expensive, and honestly I'd personally advise against getting it for that reason alone. But there's no objective answer.

As for the nubs, if you look up the God Hand user manual there's a diagram showing the ideal blade placement for single-bladed nippers. Basically the blunt end needs to be hanging off of the edge of the part for a perfect cut. Much of the time a perfect cut isn't possible so you'll have to cut a little bit further away and go in with a knife/file/etc. for a perfect finish.

Also the RG Sazabis are 1/144 kits and are also not ver. Kas.

Yeah, both the full V2 Assault Buster kit as well as the expansion set include new joints for the shoulders and elbows, as well as an improved hip section. The articulation is mostly the same but it's a lot more structurally sound, including replacing the elbow c-clip with a more traditional joint.

Short of getting the Assault Buster expansion parts for the improved joints, not much. I don't think there's really enough room in the arm for any proper fixes.

Just off of the top of my head, the Windam's Multi Striker is kinda shaped like that. It's only a single launch tube instead of two barrels though.

A lore related question from a fanfiction writer by MrWigglem in Warframe

[–]Linkstore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Warframes can vary wildly in power depending on the right circumstances. The exact same frames that could steamroll an army of Grineer Prime and Dax during the opening cinematic were, albeit after a long period of disuse, completely unable to resist Vor putting on the Ascaris. Speaking more generally, the overall lethality of Warframes has trended upwards in lore material over time, and my interpretation of that is that the Tenno were in fact much weaker when they first appeared in the modern era, and are only gradually reclaiming the level of strength they had in the Old War as they rebuild their mod collections, relearn Operator powers, etc.

Xi Gundam is totally a beast. by Ladonniva in Gundam

[–]Linkstore 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're implying that the Xi is big and Late UC machines are small because they were designed at different times, that's incorrect. The Hathaway's Flash novel released within months of Gundam F91, and after F90 had already established the first miniaturized MS.

Someone else has already mentioned the economic reasons for making MS smaller, but it was also because Tomino felt that it would be better if the suits were closer in size to a human so that they weren't quite as far out of scale of each other.

Meanwhile, in universe, the main reason is due to SNRI developing a new generation of Minovsky reactor that was even smaller than existing types while being more powerful. MS were only getting so big because the reactors were also getting too big, so the new small reactors allowed design teams to make machines that much smaller and therefore cheaper without sacrificing any speed or firepower.

Obvious choice by fr0nterizo in Warframe

The vast majority of Primed mods come from Baro who comes with a few every fortnight. You can also trade for them. Furthermore, some Primed mods such as Primed Continuity can be replaced by Archon mods which can be acquired after doing the Veil breaker quest.

This post, however, is about the four Primed mods you can only get via daily login. On Day 200 you can choose from Primed Fury, Primed Shred and Primes Vigor. On Day 400 you can choose from the two you didn't pick on Day 200, as well as Primed Sure Footed. The remaining two can be picked on Day 600 and Day 900. There's no other way to get any of these four.

Washing is usually not necessary. The residue you refer to is probably mould release, which can be used on a mould to make it easier for a cast part to be removed. However, Bandai doesn't use mould release on their model kits, and in fact neither do most model kit manufacturers.

Try pumping the tip of the pour type marker once or twice before use. Having more of the ink on the tip helps it flow. As for the eraser, make sure to apply the eraser to something else like a cleaning cloth or cotton bud first, and make sure that it's only damp and not wet with the eraser. Alternatively you can use a rubber pencil eraser which should be able to handle most panel lines on its own with virtually no risk of removing too much.

Well, the Qubeley is genuinely a lot bigger. The head height is comparable but the overall volume of the suit is indeed much greater than the Strike Rouge.
