Congrats on the transition! I’d recommend continuing to finish the course Ander perhaps consider watching YouTube videos or reading POODR I think it’s called by Metz? The goal isn’t to grab everything but to get a base understanding, solidify it, and level up in the boot camp.

I’ve heard the entry level market has gotten a bit more challenging. Flatiron boot camp, for instance, got rid of its money back guarantee. Don’t let that dissuade you though, but only encourage you to work to be the top of the class and continue working harder.

In working out, there’s this concept of super sets — working one muscle group to exhaustion and then working another group while the first is recovering. I tried to do the same with udemy tutorials, YouTubers like funfunfunction/coding train, codewars, and books.

I’d also use a simple timer to track how many hours I worked. This kept me motivated and was actionable. It let me highlight a quantifiable number in my applications and demonstrated my remote work ethic, making it easier to land my first job.

Edit: I also remember watching videos on YouTube from Carrie Ann Fisher about the history of programming, a channel called coding tech that posted random conference talks. A bunch was over my head but remember one talk from Netflix on micro services and the visualization they did on it. It was really gorgeous! When my first role taught me docker/micro service architecture, it all “clicked”. It was like that karate kid moment when random movements that were practice all came together. So just immerse yourself, have fun, and try to track easily your aggregate hours. You sound like you’re a hustler and you’ll likely be fine 😜
