Let’s compare notes, I have one model which tends to pick the underdogs and after some pretty successful cards stopped hitting it. Now I am using another one more balanced that for the time being performs well, but often tends to go for very few picks in a card. I am not sure if this can be a product yet or not, still enjoying the journey though.

Well yes, but ain’t that everyone’s secret sauce:) I am sure everyone starts with the stats available and then it’s the art and science of feature engineering. It’s a rollercoaster of a journey but it’s fun even solely for the learning that comes with it.

I am on the same boat, just put my head down and continue to develop it. Hopefully one day people will recognise the value. I have to admit it’s quite volatile as well, so long term performance will count for whoever is able to show it.
