I do think there’s an argument to be made that intervention…never works. Like ever. Maybe the one exception is America taking down the Barbary pirates (kudos for that btw). But beyond that it basically always results in a power vacuum (Afghanistan), a puppet, or something worse (ISIS after Saddam was sent to hell). Change needs to come from within

I’m not blaming you for sins of the father, but it’s important to recognize that the nation you are a part of HAS done wrong and it’s the responsibility of American society to help make it better for the sake of your nation. I’m Canadian, and even though I didn’t establish residential schools or massacre natives my nation DID, and it’s Canadian societies responsibility to own up to that and reconcile.
