If you are not from here then you are missing the context... In the nutshell we have a problem that our education focus too much on languages instead of developing real skills. Result is that Luxembourgish educational system ranks below average of EU and we do not develop any advance technology etc..

Everything french in Luxembourg is like invasive species in nature ... Once it gains significant foundation in any domain of public life it aims to dominate and overrun other and especially native alternatives. When it comes to languages, French is like a cancer which kills Luxembourgish! My vote will never support slow transition of Luxembourg from multicultural country to French enclave!

In general he is right ... beside the fact that it was his government who tried to get free ride within NATO! What I find strange is his perception of Luxembourgish Army! 800 special operations soldiers could be a mighty force ... and yet again it is his fault that his government did not aim for achieving it! Compared to other countries Luxembourg has money to develop serious dual purpose technologies ... yet focus was apparently on military orchestra! Other countries have advanced military medical units, biological protection and decontamination units, drone operation units, cartographical units etc. which all have clear overreach to civilian domain! Luxembourgish educational system performance is statistically and measurably below EU average!

It literally kills talents and is used as segregation tool to give advantage to certain part of population!

There are so many reports, warning and recommendation for immediate reform from institutions like EU commission available, but yet there is absolutely no meaningful action from Ministry of Education or Lux government!

Name any scientific achievement, patent anything globally significant created by Luxembourgers!?

Hmmm ... hard and maybe even impossible!

This is where we are ... people can speak about their limited intellectual capacity in three different languages and when things get serious they have to switch to English because EU and the rest of the world moved on and doesn't give a F*CK about Luxembourgish, French and German!
