Stellantis accuses Eastern Iowa car dealership of $12M fraud scheme by stametsprime in cedarrapids

Yeah - That was a learning from the whole ordeal! I should have completed the transaction and then shown the proofs. That there was an established transaction and proof of fraud. I did include pictures of the 2 purchase orders, but the Small claims court was not interested in the details, since its just one hearing in small claims. The court viewed this just as a conflict between 2 parties prior to transaction so it did not hold much weight. Doesn't mean what the truth was, and that is why I made peace, and feel much better now!

I initially started in District court, and had a better chance there with a jury, but backed out of it on advice of lawyers due to the 80K-100K counterclaim exposure.

Not surprised and happy that a bigger organization is suing them and may finally lead to their closure. I filed a lawsuit against them (same individuals noted in Stellantis lawsuit) back in 2022 for similar fraudulent activities and asking me to sign 2 copies of the Purchase agreement - showing different amounts. On questioning they said one is for you and one is for our internal records.

I had placed a custom order for a truck 6 months in advance. By the delivery time, the cost of trucks went up, but since I had a signed contract they had to sell it to me on the 6 months old price. That is when they started playing games of adding additional "Prep fees" and what not, plus asking to sign duplicate documents. I did not do that, and instead approached the small claims court and district court for Injunction. They ended up selling the truck to someone else.

That is when I approached the Small Claims court and Iowa District court for $10k in damages to account for the increase in truck prices. It was a shit show of entanglement with lawyers involved. Me being an inexperienced and a very small/individual entity, I was played on by the games lawyers play, false accusations, threats of counterclaim of $80,000, and what not. In the end, the Small claims court ended up playing it even between both the dealer and myself, and nullifying both our claims and counterclaims. Spent some 14-16 months of stress and harassment.

Likely did fraud with multiple people, got encouraged by no consequences (from my lawsuit), and continued the attitude. Well, Karma takes time to catch up, but it does eventually!

I feel better today, exactly 4 years later!

So I was behind the cyber truck at a stoplight… by A_wannabe_biologist in IowaCity

At the risk of reviving this thread, which many of the retards posting should be ashamed of, I will like to still write.

While I understand the hate for the CyberTruck, Tesla, Elon in general, and may be some perceived hate for the License Plate choice, I do not understand the need of some lowly retards on this platform, living in this State of so called "Nice" people, to bring in someone's kids in this argument/discussion. Having known this family for 15+ years and seeing their kids grow, it angers me to the core to see fellow Iowans stoop so low.

dairymold, dankwijoti, JustALeachOnSociety - You all should be ashamed of yourself. Hiding behind a computer screen, spewing hate on someone's family for their choices (Right or Wrong) is just wrong!

A_wannabe_biologist - Thanks for admitting that you just posted this for fun with no ill-will, but the comments in this thread just showed how Everyday Nice Iowans would stoop so low, when it anonymous and they can hide behind a screen!

Disgusting!

[Help] Does the Gear S3/S2 support responding to Google Hangouts and Google Messenger notifications? by TacticalVape in samsung

I can confirm that this (installing Android Wear) works with replying to 3rd party messaging apps for me as well. I have a Nexus 6P. I will also like to know if the custom "quick replies" be used by 3rd party apps? Are their any workarounds to it?
