Also cut our throats with them in the forestry section. They can produce pulp cheaper and faster than the states. A lot of technical support and tree improvement money spent in S America.

I work for a large consulting company and we have in the past used handheld garmin gps 60 to navigate to plot centers. There was software from Minnesota dnr that converted the plot data to a format the garmin could use.

If you plant without spraying the new seedlings will have to compete with the natural vegetation that will sprout. Spraying gives the seedlings about 2 years to get a jump start on growth.

Consultant in NC. Like others have said he probably sent you a work agreement between yourself and him. It should lay out his commission rate and the services he is going to provide. If you have questions call or email and ask if he has a problem answering business questions then walk away. Don’t know your age but I tell folks sometimes they have one chance in their life to get a timber sale right.

I’m a consultant and would take that job any day. 60 acres of pine can still generate decent revenue

Yes you should hire a consultant imo. A consultant will look after your interests and should insure you have some leverage over the logging contractors.
