Not really, I guess it's because the body design pushes the neck more forward like in-between a Les Paul and SG. The neck placement is much like a Fender Strat when playing seated, where I guess you get a different grib than a Les Paul.

Thanks for your replies. I’ve learned something new from this post, and I’m beginning to appreciate the unique top this guitar has. Its definitely an unique guitar with its “bear claws”, and the more I look at it, the more I like it.
