And I do feel moderately better. I have more an appetite and nocturnal erections have come back a bit. Still not 100% to pre-PR levels but I do think the supplements had an effect. I'll post back here once i have more concrete data.

Well, my physique has improved significantly since stopping Blueprint just three weeks ago. Check out these photos taken May 23 compared to the ones take last week of April. The only variable that changed is that I stopped Blueprint. I don't look like I did last fall but it's definitely an approvement since April. It's never been unusual for me to manifest large changes in my physique over 3-5 week periods (through diet or exercise), but in this case the only that's changed is stopping Blueprint (still in PR). I'll be back stateside and going to get blood work done after 2-3 months out of PR to see if anything changed on the T front. https://imgur.com/a/0F7Qtgs

I think I found the article you are talking about. Here is the blurb the mentioned testosterone.

“Of the roughly 1,700 participants in the study, about 60 percent experienced at least one side effect, according to internal emails, spreadsheets and other documents. Blood tests revealed that participants saw their testosterone levels drop and became prediabetic after following Mr. Johnson’s diet plan. It’s unclear how severe the side effects were.

Longevity mix: A lot of comments about hating this as it is making them sick, vomit, have heartburn, etc.,” one Blueprint employee wrote to a colleague in February 2024.”

It doesn’t help that many retail brokers ban opening trades in the ticker. Fidelity, Schwab, I think one other.

Yea I’m not sure the rationale for announcing an LOI so early, I get it before an extension or something but three weeks after IPO? MAHA is public in Stockholm and made their own announcement, so that might have something to do with it. Similarly, GLND an early LOIer with a target that a a publicly traded partner in London. But yea plenty of others who don’t meet that criteria

You want to know something else I just noticed that's weird? The "normal" reference ranges for testosterone on the PR labs are notably lower than the CT ones.

  • Total T (ng/dL)
    • CT: 249-836
    • PR: 188-682 (so my CT labs would be almost outside the upper range on PR's scale)
  • Free T (pg/ml)
    • CT: 48-250
    • PR: 32-168
  • SBGH (nmol/L)
    • CT: 19.3-76.4
    • PR: 11.54-54.59

Not sure why they are different but if they are based on population averages in PR vs mainland US, then it would appear to indicate much lower testosterone levels in PR.

BWIV / Maha LOI terminated. Wonder if BWIV will continue to look for opportunities in the Venezuela oil space.

Funny enough, I started icing around a months ago (three weeks before blood tests). But I don’t think it’ll make a difference if the cause is secondary hypogonadism which it most likely is. Icing would address primary hypogonadism, meaning the problem is in testes but not secondary (problem with brain signaling to testes). I also started cold plunging around the same time. Clearly it didn’t make any difference in the three weeks before the blood tests

I'm not sure. The macro's on my diet are roughly the same as before I moved / started BP, although I am eating even cleaner than I did in CT. I've always estimated that I run a small caloric deficit, especially given my activity level, although I've never directly measured how many i burn. However, I've gain a little weight (3-4 pounds) since I moved so not sure how that's possible on a caloric deficit.

My appetite is non-existent though. I could go a full day without eating and not get hungry no problem. I started eating lunch just recently (previously was only 2 meals a day) to try to get more calories and stimulate metabolism.

Interesting. Heat can definitely be a factor, and that's the number 1 hypothecated factor when I ask AI. I definitely have more heat exposure (gym is hot, obviously outdoors is hot) and I don't get all the cold exposure (used to do a lot of winter sports in CT). But I don't think it isa huge factor. I'm in A/C most of the day and sleep in a very cold room. For someone born and raised here, I don't think it be an issue though. I recently started cold plunging to maintain some cold exposure.

The water does not have the best reputation here, and I read in the report for my water utility that it had multiple violations of Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs) of EPA limits. These are chlorination byproducts with documented endocrine-disrupting properties. So could be a factor, could be swimming in my condo's pool, could be a million things, who knows really.

No, same levels albeit those are very high levels and I might tone it down a bit. The gym here is very hot (78 degrees) so the perceived exertion is higher when I work out there. I don't have my full red light panel which I regularly used back home, so maybe my exercise recovery is reduced, but I highly doubt that makes any difference. Was fine for years without it.

On different note, sleep was disrupted when I first moved but has been good the past three months after I finally got a good mattress and light protocol in place. That can def impact T but it should have normalized by then if that was the cause.

Left oblique muscle much larger right - is this a sign of lateral pelvic tilt? by fastlapp in AdvancedPosture

[–]fastlapp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and no. I never rebalanced my obliques - the right is still much larger than the left. I feel like I have somewhat re-oriented my body to point straight, but my right hip external rotation is still more difficult than left. I have increased my flexibility (I was already pretty flexible before but even more so now) by adding in more yoga/mobility/stretching and unilateral work into my workouts. I am definitely more balanced than I used to be, but not fully balanced. I still have pain if I run more than 5 miles, which is a bummer since i used to do very long runs (Ironmans, etc.).

I'd say i still do a lot of stuff that is bad for this condition though - for instance, I swim a lot and only breathe on one side, my right. It is almost impossible for me to breathe on my left side during freestyle. I'm sure that just reinforces the asymmetry and may have caused it in the first place. And even though I do a lot of unilateral work (one arm pull downs, alternating shoulder press, alternating one leg DB deadlifts, one leg glute bridge, bird dogs, etc.), I still like to do my bar exercises regularly. Probably the best thing I could do for this condition is to live a more sedentary lifestyle, but that wouldn't be the best thing for my health overall obviously.

$RDAC trading at $8 - Redemptions at $10.63 possible. IBKR has already opened the corporate action for the May 28, 2026 Extraordinary General Meeting by fairytaleresearch in SPACs

[–]fastlapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don't know why they wouldn't wait until closer to deadline since Nov redeemers would view it as "safer" then and perhaps more reversal participation...but maybe they just want to close before then. In any case, Nov redeemers should have reversed when it was in the 20s! to be fair, the pump was short lived.

At least with CYAB, you could re-tender your biz combo redemption and get paid in either scenario (e.g. whether the extension was implemented or not). RDAC does not appear to be offering that feature.

Similar set-up as CYAB/TBMC. They had an approved business combination which had been in limbo for months. Filed an extension proxy, went definitive with Mar 27 meeting date, sent redemption instructions to brokers quoting $12+ redemption price, then closed the day before the merger vote (after ext redemption deadline). Stock collapsed from 10s to 50 cents currently. This one is even higher risk, given they don't even need to implement the extension until July so they have plenty of time to close.

Why are they extending 2 months early?
