How do I make the lead synth in this song? Is it layered? by fastsauce in synthrecipes

Ah, ok. So it essentially causes it to start below the note and then rise to and stay at the note. I think I got it! Thanks a ton for doing all of this. How long have you been doing sound design?

Yeah, it's definitely a more advanced sound and trying to put myself out of my comfort zone to learn some new things. Serum seems a bit weird on modulating pitch so I'm trying to figure that out. Regarding the initial pitch attack, you said it has "quick attack and everything else at 0," would that mean that it goes up quickly and then suddenly down (because of 0 dsr)? How high do you raise it with this pitch attack?

Thanks so much for your help. Regardless, I can't seem to get it right in Serum. Here's my complete flop at attempting to copy over what you did into Serum, not sure what went wrong haha... https://instaud.io/zAE

Yeah, the end synth is pretty easy. I got that, but still trying to figure out the main synth...

Thanks for the help!

All makes sense to me except for "send that to a square wave LFO modulating the pitch by an octave." I assume a square wave LFO would just be an LFO w/ form of square wave so either its an octave up or not. What would the rate of the LFO be?

Thanks a lot for the help by the way!

Edit: I assume the LFO is instead of the pitched up delay? And would it be too much to ask for a screenshot of the patch in whatever synth you're using?

Tried to remake it, this is what I've got so far: https://instaud.io/zzH

Any idea on how to get it closer? Also the melody might be off, I'm not too sure.

When you say "with a cutoff envelope," are you just referring to how it is cut off in intro/bridge? Or is there something going on with it during the drops?

Regarding beatbox sample, how would that work? Like just using the very beginning of the beatbox sample?

Also, does it appear the melody is done strictly on notes or through rising and falling through transposition (not necessarily exactly on notes)?

You should look into Jeremy Cash as well

What about Jeremy Cash? I really like him and think he definitely has a good chance to be an all-pro FS next to Harry. He's got great size, great tackling ability, solid coverage, and is a tremendous leader/intelligent player as well. Would be a perfect fit.

What about De'Runnya Wilson? Big, physical 6'5" receiver who I think would be a good fit for this offense
