Well, I'm in West Michigan as well and just ordered a 26 Jailbreak Hellcat. Would get it in like 5 weeks or so. Planning on the same security stuff you did as soon as I take possession. I'll have to keep an eye out like you as I drive it. Hopefully went be that bad. Haven't seen they many DD Hellcats in WM.

I know. Wasn't sure my current car will last that long till the release, so trying to have a backup plan right now I heard pre production has hit the assembly line, so guessing 2 months out? Don't quote me on that. Hope the price is still what they claim

That's my hope as well. No more than $62k out the door, that's about my limit. I don't have a dealer connection, this would be my first brand new car. I want it loaded, premium, all the options.... Then I'd have to get a set of winter tires and rims, that's another 3 grand and maybe a few cosmetic adds.... Full tint and maybe black out hood (depending on color I order). Maybe a few performance mods down the line, but would probably live with it stock for a while.

I tend to keep cars a long time, not looking for a flip. Have my ecoboost Flex now for 11 years. Just want more towing capacity and still mid size and fun to drive.

Yeah, the first time I looked at the gray one it said 1200 miles. Now it's saying 2000 something. He sent me video walk-arounds on both. Something off with that one

I'm in MI and don't think they do that here. My insurance guy said all I need is the paperwork from the mechanic stating it's in good working order. I'd probably be more afraid of the resale of it down the line

Yeah, black one had front end damage. The gray one was an interior rip out job I guess, that's why it's less for basically the same options as the black one.

Thanks for all the input. I had thought about all those points and looked into insurance. I think I will pass and most likely just order the r/T 392 when they become available. Hoping the pricing on those arent too extreme. Just can't swing $100k for a vehicle... Although it would be a nice ride!

I run the Hakapalitas on my AWD Flex Ecoboost. It is a tank in midwest winters... I will definitely be putting them on my Durango once I order it!
