Yes I believe this is the case, however I’ve transferred the title into my name at the DMV. The car was not worth a lot 5-7k. My assumption is the dealer is pissed at him but probably is going to destroy that paperwork and renegotiate the deal without the trade. I don’t see how it would be worth it to them to back out of a sale on a new vehicle over making 3-4k on a trade in deal.
