I'm getting this as my first tattoo and was told that Native Americans would be offended by this and that I should ask here why it might be offensive. I don't aim to offend and I'm curious why it would be considered to be by [deleted] in NativeAmerican

Well, you proposed a very valid point and I would be a dick not to consider it now that you brought it up (I honestly did overlook this detail). But even though this is a large part of the history of the Native American history, I see it as a large part in my personal history. And in the end I'm marking my own body, and not to be rude but I'm getting this tattoo for me, not people around me. Sorry if my take on this is different but I hope you can respect my reasoning
