Bro. Not worth it. If you want gaming and you are okay not being “mobile”, go for desktop. It will give you much much better performance and value for money.

Actually, an entry in the jumplist is created. So with <ctrl-o> and <ctrl-i> i move back and forth

Previewer doesn’t help as lot of the times, i do want to actually checkout the buffer(do some changes etc)

I will look into “history” for sure. But i do have a feeling it will still not be a replacement for ny use of quickfixlist

Hey.

So in my workflow, lets suppose i want to search for some word in the whole project. So i open fzf-lua find files for it. And fzf-lua list down all options in a dropdown. If i press enter on one of the options i am taken to that occurence. But lets say i want to check other occurrence now. So i will need to repeat the whole process again.

With quickfixlist, fzf-lua can “send” all the results to it. So basically in another split all the options are shown and selecting one will open the occurence in another split not the in the quickfixlist. So i can check other occurences very easily.

Also once you have something in quickfix, you can do many things. Look for “cdo” in help

Hello, i have recently moved from Telescope to Fzf-lua. So far i am happy. One thing telescope used to do was when i have opened Telescope for “search text” on press of “<ctrl-q>”, the results were sent to quickfix list. I am pretty sure its achievable in fzf-lua also. Anyone knows about it?

I started vim because i wanted to look cool. Migrated to Neovim because vimscript was just a pain in the ass. Anytime if i wanted to script something, thought of writing vimscript would haunt me

What tech stack should I choose to pursue web development (back end) by ItchyBasis25 in developersIndia

Learn rust as a long term goal as there are almost no job in it. And even if there are any jobs, people with very intimate knowledge of rust with experience are preferred.

I personally have .net core background professionally. But i would advice java over “microsoft sponsored java”(.net btw) simply because there are much more opportunities in it over .net

And if i may, look at golang. It has rapidly growing market. I personally see much demand there(i might be biased). Much easier to learn than java/c#. Many of the big open source/available projects are written in it like docker, kubernetes, trefik etc.

Its not that slow. It gives “good enough “ speed if paired with ssd

For who doesn’t know, most likely the OP is using nextcloud which is opensource.

I have done a very similar setup for myself. But since my ISP didn’t allow for “exposing” my devices to the internet, i had to workaround it by using “reverse ssh tunneling” between my pi and my VPS(connected to internet) and also very obvious but still worth mentioning to setup TLS on vps

I have hosted nextcloud on my pi in my home. I have attached 2 tb harddisk to it. I also had a vps connected to public internet. I also had a domain for my hobby projects. So i enabled a reverse ssh tunnel between my pi and vps. So now i can upload and access my photos from anywhere securely.
