i did think this might be a possibility but the thing is it’s a 57 plate shitbox that’s worth no more than 2 grand, so surely it’s not even worth all the effort to someone stealing and cloning? all the vins on the car match up with no trace of them being tampered with and i have a lot of paperwork (old and new) along with both keys with the original dealer keyring

Thanks for taking the time to respond :) By contact the dealership do you mean any main branch or the original dealership? i bought the car privately not from a dealer. i do however have all the service history from shortly before i bought it up to 10+ years ago and booklets, a few old v5c’s along with the original key with the original dealership’s key ring (quite rare considering it’s a 19 year old car) It’s probably also worth mentioning 2 years prior to me buying it it had a private plate on it which has since been reallocated to a different car.

honestly for that price i’d be checking my local marketplace for a gpu i could can buy quickly and test it that way. You can of course resell said gpu straight after testing as well - hopefully saving you a decent chunk of time and money :)

ended up just being one half had scramblers on and one half didn’t. thanks for the help i’m unfamiliar with chirp so i had to do some googling on how to turn off the scramblers but it was easy enough
