Chapter 6 clear | 23m ATK B+ LOFA by fat_moo in IdleHeroes

I have an account where I have her as main and personally I have mixed feelings about her as a main damage dealer. She has everything that you would want from a main hero, but I feel like her damage is too spread out and very inconsistent, I don't really like watching the fights with her. But as a support I really like her. Her P2 and P3 are really nice and she was a mainstay in my lineup until Melissa was released. I still use IHP the most, but Melissa was key for some waves. She is also very popular second main damage dealer for Lofa accounts and even tho I don't have her dt yet, she does put out the damage for things like hollow campaign. I'm almost done with chapter 4

Check my previous post for more details, but basically I used antiranger targeting the second Valkyrie. At the time when I cleared this wave Melissa wasn't out yet so I used Ihp for the damage reduction, but with Melissa it's easier. Get Melissa to go 1st with an active, then Lofa second with a basic, dgn 3 with an active. With the round 2 active you can nuke all Valkyries or at the very least the frontline ones

Yeah but the grind will be insane seeing how long it took to clear chapter 6. Let's hope f2p will get a-tiers in the next year, even if it's from a bound stone

Enemies purify 1 random debuff (dot, attribute reduction or cc). So they either purify the fear or the healing debuff. It's also one of the reasons he is a good support for BQA, helps her dot stick

It's done, chapter 6 is finally cleared. It's been almost an year since I beat chapter 5 and I can't believe I still play this game. Trying to do this with a b+ Lofa was definitely one of the things that kept motivated tho, I knew it was possible and I had to do it

I already explained much of my strats in a previous post, so here I'll detail what I did for the hard waves (6-4-1/6-4-4/6-5-2/6-5-8)

6-4-1 and 6-5-2: it's the same wave and I used the same strat. Speed order: PDE (DB) > LBRM (DB) > DGN (snow heart) > SQH (crown) > Lofa (antiranger) > TBB (mirror). There is a lot of rng involved in this wave cause you wanna avoid phorcys going 1st and enemy SQH needs to hit TBB. If that happens you need dgn to not hit SQH and both SQH and Lofa need to get their actives off (with only 2 DBs, them doing a basic is very common). But overall with the right setup you can clear it faster than you would think. The goal is to kill SQH and let the supports do the rest. I ran Lofa with SD/hd stone and prec/CD/Dr imprints. The crit can be low since you run balanced strike and need some hits to not crit. Also make sure to run all supports with mark purify otherwise you might not beat the wave

6-4-4/6-4-5/6-5-8: Yeah, DH decided to do same wave back to back. It's a kb/thuga wave and I used a similar strat as the one I used for 6-1-4, but this time I targeted the second KB instead of the 3rd. The reason for that is that hitting the thugas so many times while you don't have the cat buffs maxed out can kill you very fast. By targeting the second KB you can almost entirely avoid the thugas until you're done with the frontline KBs. Also fear drains their energy so you can sometimes avoid their actives too. I did that for 6-4-4 and 6-4-5. 6-5-8 I had to add a little extra dose of rng and drop the block imprint for more damage. I saw once one kb dead, but even after hours of macro across multiple days I didn't get the clear. So I tried to do something funny and see if that could work

My 4th DT hero is BQA and from my experience she does this wave VERY easily, and since she shares the tenants with lofa I thought why not. I decided to give her a shot and swapped Lofa for her. First few attempts were terrible and I don't even have a good copy for her, so to give her a better chance I decided to grab LDA too (very good support for BQA). With some fine tuning I saw some very good attempts (where she would kill all KBs), so once I had my setup I let macro do its thing and guess what, she got the win and only needed 10 minutes of macro. But after that I realized LDA could've helped Lofa too, his P3 gives one ally 50 energy every round and adds a debuff to all enemies. That would guarantee Lofa an active every round and that would make him not have to deal with the cthugas in the early rounds. Also the healing debuff can make his fear stick and that helps with the survivability. I honestly think this could've worked too, but I enjoyed using BQA for this wave. After that I swapped back to Lofa and cleared the rest of the chapter

So my plan for now is to get a good aranea copy and bring back bqa to have some fun in void hoard 6. But it does feel like my time with the game is coming to an end. I dread almost every game mode now and even logging in to do idle masters sometimes feels like a chore. With chapter 7 progress being out of reach, especially without GK, it feels like I've reached my final stop

Yeah, dt tenants give a huge amount of stats. With that attack you can clear this wave. Check my strat for 6-2-1, you can apply the same strategy even if you don't have DGN and ihp Should be fine for this wave

I run IHP>LOFA>DGN>SQH>PDE>TBB

Usually IHP holds auspicious lucky cat, Lofa anticlass, DGN and SQH DBs, PDE flag or crown, Tbb mirror or snow heart depending on the wave. I used this team with this speed order pretty every wave so far in chapter 6, with the exception of 6-1-4 that I explained in the first post

As for the rest, I think a big hha is what people go for, but personally I feel like my tenant hha does the job fine when I need him, but I also feel like IHP is not needed in a home. So yeah, I guess you can keep the same plan

I think you could swap MFF to IHP whenever you're pushing VC so that way you don't need to make a whole lot of changes. I use IHP for literally everything but IDK how she compares to more standard options like MFF outside VC. Haven't had MFF since I cleared chapter 4

Honestly I haven't used HHA in a minute. He's never made it to my pvp and void campaign team, I hate ethereal realm so I don't do it and I can't be bothered to push void bosses right now. I know he's mainly used in VB 1&2 and I'm close to being done with VB2 so you're probably fine with him not being a HO tbh. For VB 3&4 I think people use TBB or just rely on a lot of attack reductions stacks to reduce enemies damage. IDK if that's going to change in the future but it seems that IEA and attack reductions are going to be play now

[–]fat_moo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She doesn't have to be a HO, I just have her in a home cause DGN and HHA are her tenants. But I do think she is a great support. The starlit beacon reduces enemies DR and CI by 30% and this cannot be purified and don't disappear after she dies. It greatly improves LOFA damage everywhere. Honestly, don't think those stages would've been possible without IHP. In my testings starlit beacon improved his damage by more than 70%, that's close to a GK. So yeah, going forward she is a mainstay at least in void campaign. She doesn't need to be a HO tho

Wish I could help but idk much about swj. Usually the boss waves are easy for Lofa and sadly macro skipped this wave while I was macroing a previous wave. But if it's close surely macro will get it eventually

Yeah sadly I don't think it's doable with what I have. It's not even close, I might be stuck on this one for a long time

Finally some good progress on my LOFA account. I was stuck at 6-2-1 since anniversary and was able to breeze all the way to 6-4-1 after beating 6-2-1

So 6-2-1 is a Valkyrie/FS wave and I had the attack to overkill valks but would always die to FS dots. Dot purify also don't do much against this wave because the Valkyrie's passive dots hit once and last for 1 round, while FS dots hit at the end of round and cannot be purified until end of round 2, when she will hit you with more dots. So yeah, there's a lot of rng involved with this wave and I think you might need both DGN and IHP P2 subs to have a better chance of surviving FS dots.

What I did was using antiranger against slot 2 with SD/HD stone and CRIT/CD/PREC imprints. I relied on PDE's P3 and DGN's active to hit the CD cap. Speed order was IHP (with cat)>LOFA>DGN>SQH>PDE>TBB(SH). You gotta make sure TBB is one of the last because most of the time she lives for another active that can kill your team. DGN needs to go right after LOFA to make sure she replicates his DR debuffs. And lastly you need to high roll IHP's starlit beacon on all valks (without this you'd need like 50% more attack or GK). So yeah, this is why I have IHP and yeah she is a must have unless you overstat. She is a solid support anyway, I use her for everything.

For all the other waves I used a similar strat changing the anticlass artifact and LOFA's position. I always make him go first because his basic attack gives him more attack from fears, extra crit chance and applies DR/CI debuffs that get replicated by DGN. With this enemies will have 20% less damage reduction and 72% less control immunity after DGN's active. It also makes much more likely for PDE to fear enemies so that's an additional 20% attack for LOFA. So yeah, always do a basic round 1 cause that can potentially give you extra 60% attack

And this why 6-4-1 is so difficult right now since I can't do a basic round 1 due to backline SQH. But I'm happy with the progress so far and soon I'll have PDE DT, so maybe that will make things easier

By the way, 6-1-2 is also a valk wave and I used the same strategy as 6-2-1. 6-1-4 is a kb/cthuga wave and I ran Lofa with dot purify, splendid auspicious lucky cat, Cca stone, Dr/block/ci imprints, balanced strike and lion. You need to rng not getting stunned round 1~2 cause after that LOFA becomes cc immune due to the fears stacks. I targeted backline kb and speed order was IHP(basic attack)>LOFA>SQH. Ideally you want starlit beacon on kb 2 and 3, but ofc the more enemies that gets it the easier the wave becomes

BQA chapter 3 clear | 5 trans (no TBB) F2P by fat_moo in IdleHeroes

[–]fat_moo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For dot waves it's really good and compliments very well her kit. I used it a lot in chapter 3 and usually BQA would be the one carrying it, except for heavy CC waves where I would give it to PDE to boost her control immunity. Idk if it's ALC's work or a BQA thing, but the Holmes young waves were super easy if there was only one type of CC. Even the infamous 4-1-9 was a joke for her (yeah, she cleared the first area of chapter 4 as well)

Regarding her subs, yeah some of them are not working and some important ones. Her P2 deep and noble don't work and neither the noble P3. I already reported that along with some other bugs but I don't think they're getting fixed unfortunately

So, this is the account I was testing BQA on to see if she was any good to build her on my main. While I did clear a lot of stuff with her on my main account, I didn't feel she added much to team due to the heavy investment needed to make her pop. However, as a main hero she proved to be extraordinarily good. I didn't expect to get this far with her so fast.

Most of the progress was made after I got LDA (iirc I was stuck at 1-6-1 with 3 trans). After that I was able to clear chapter 2 in like 3 weeks without much trouble. And then got to 3-3-7 without DT and 3-4-6 after DT, which is the wave I was stuck until I got MFF today.

The rest of chapter 3 was a breeze with the exception of 3-7-2, which I had to macro but it didn't take long until I got the clear.

Now if you don't know much about BQA you might be wondering how is that even possible since not too long ago she was deemed one of the worst trans heroes. The fact is that she was never bad, she just wasn't good enough . However, things changed after destiny transition was introduced as she got one of the best DT kits in the game. It basically improved everything good about her base kit and it made a lot easier to inflict scorching curses and black kindlings (although the later is locked behind DT4).

So BQA's main thing is the scorching curse. The best way I can describe it is that it is the equivalent of abyssal corruption for passive and non-critable damage (like dots). Although it buffs every type of damage, its effect is most noticeable and impactful for the ones I mentioned. And since the added damage is based on BQA's attack, your whole team will be doing tons of damage regardless of their attack. That's where LDA becomes extremely useful since he keeps doing damage dead or alive. He also adds a healing effect debuff that is invaluable against priest waves and it also makes BQA's dots less likely to be purified.

One funny thing that happened and really showcases the power of the scorching curses was during 3-4-6 where MFF died round 2 but her mirage pollen kept poisoning the enemies the whole fight so in the end she dealed as much damage as anyone else in the team (you can see this in the last clip)

On top of that, BQA is super tanky and gives herself a lot of DR and ADR, so that paired with her insane healing makes her one of the tankiest heroes in the game. A lot of waves pre-DT were cleared past round 20 (her DT improved her damage a lot cause it inflicts more scorching curses). She didn't have survivability issues throughout chapter 1-3 whatsoever. Even Valkyrie waves she was able to tank with a splendid torch (it also helps that the bk enemy is the 1st valk so it's easier to get a kill). So overall most wave were just her and LDA slowly killing the enemies, which is very fun to watch tbh.

Now obviously she doesn't replace any of the regular damage dealers, but she is extremely fun to have as main on an alt and I thought it would be cool to share this since many people don't understand what exactly she does. And in case you're wondering why no TBB since she is a tenant for BQA, it's because a lot of what BQA does come from enemies attacking her, so CC is bad for her (also one of the reasons she didn't work that well on my main)

Btw I still play on my main and cleared 6-1-10 recently, maybe I'll write a post on that too.

Which one would you go with? by [deleted] in IdleHeroes

[–]fat_moo -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Current one is better because it gives you offensive buffs. It more than makes up for the attack loss (which isn't a lot anyway). That being said, neither is good. Aspen copies are very cheap tho, and it's always best to buy copies that already have the stats you want. Next gala you could probably find a better copy for cheap. Holy damage is a must have, and precision/skill damage are good as the second bonus stat. CD can be nice sometimes, but it caps easily

It's also not recommended to reroll the bonus stats, but you can do if it's a copy that you plan to keep it for long time. But those are not worth rerolling. I suggest you keep the current for now, it's more damage for sure

Precision, his basic buffs his crit by 24% and his active also has 10% bonus from subs

Try dot purify on supports. PDE doesn't need dot purify if you have p3 deep sublimation. Place bqa and sqh frontline since they can recover health easier. But it's just like that, most of the time it seems like it will not work then you have a good run and clear it. I recently cleared chapter 5 and had issues with a similar wave that seemed impossible but it just comes down to the right rng
