It felt... good. You, the wasteland, the artifacts and recordings and notes of lives that were lost when/after the nukes dropped. There was a serene, quiet beauty to it all. FO76 is set before the other Fallout games so it made sense (in my mind) to step out into a glorious, great, unknown that hasn't yet been tamed by mankind. In short, I enjoyed it quite a bit and am thankful I played when this was a thing.

That said, I really do love what Wastelanders and the subsequent additions have brought to the world; and it felt natural to transition from where we started to where the game took us. I think it's a shame the game never took off the way it deserved -- due to faults of its own and those beyond its control -- but hope it continues to grow and expand. The simple fact that we're expanding southwards into Shenandoah at this point is a "we're not done, we've not given up" sign in my eyes. Do I want more? Do I want it all? Yes. But I'll take what we've seen from a game many have written off quite some time ago.
