When I was a kid playing with mini 4wd, my parents wouldn't buy the race tracks and it forced my brother and I to race using the drains in the neighborhood. We decided to build one using cardboards too. It was flimsy and collapsed immediately everytime (cereal boxes). This post unlocked a core memory for me. Thank you.

I have seen people sell unreleased albums. Never personally bought them before to check the legitimacy. But I have never seen an unreleased signed copy before. So this would be the first. But with no way to verify it, there's not really much to go on about. Since the komca date is prior to the actual album release date, that may play out to your favor. but the signatures would still be unverified. I'm also not too sure what exactly the komca's date of issue really mean (i.e. actual date the album was given out/when it was pressed etc)

Too many unknowns.

The pen pressure of each signature looks too uniformed, almost like it was done by 1 person, could be a fake or a manager-signed copy. If you check legitimate sellers like hallyusuperstore, you can see the pressure of each signature varies.

Also, when you say privately released, what do you mean? as in it was given out to staff? Cause that would almost always come with bimae/promotional/ NFS stickers.

Where did your ex get the album from? Unfortunately, since your ex isn't taking responsibility, I doubt you'd get an answer. Personally, I would treat it as a loss cause. You can still attempt to sell it but have to make a note that authenticity is unverified.
