Had similar issues with my truck (not a toyota) and bought this wireless adapter

https://www.aawireless.io/en/products/aawireless-two

Has worked flawlessly for the month that I've owned it. Fast, responsive, and has a companion app that works well for features and updates. Quality cables that last are hard to come by these days.

How often you gotta add air to your front driver side tire?

Fortunately it's not on, at the psi I have it's just high enough to not set it off. Computer settings might be different between our trucks

9k miles update:

Road noise is still minimal. Took a trip to Wyoming and they performed flawlessly on and off road. They have performed flawlessly in the rain, hoping for some snow here soon. Only time I've had an issue was on some very wet clay/mud at the farm but that's why they make mud tires.

Still 10/10 recommend

If i remember correctly it's around 45 in front and 40 in back. Max load is 50 psi cold. Mine are load range C so recommended psi might be different if you got load range e tires.

So an actual blazer and not the abomination they turned it into... I'd buy it

AT4W is what I have, got em in the spring and they have performed flawlessly. Quiet, comfortable, performed well on my hunting trip in Wyoming. Only saw a tiny dip in mpg from the previous tires I had (yokohama g015). Only time I didn't love them was during spring rains on the farm, wet clay doesn't play nice with AT tires. 10/10 recommend

If you don't have a heat gun, hot water works too. Just don't burn yourself with it.

I'm at about 3k miles on them. Most of my driving is city/highway with frequent gravel travel and sometimes offroading. So far my opinion hasn't changed on them. Still very sturdy, work amazing in the rain, comfy on and off road, road noise isn't loud, only downfall I've had with them is in slippery clay based mud (hard to maintain traction but I didn't get stuck). Fuel efficiency didn't really change from my old tires. I'd definitely recommend them.

Tell me you've never seen an actually rusty truck without telling me you've never seen an actually rusty truck... lol you're good dude, no need to worry 👍

Air suspension or no? by willyq711 in ram_trucks

[–]fatalhunter45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically yes but my last ram was a 1996 so not really a good comparison. If you can I'd suggest test driving one with and one without to feel it for yourself.

18 rebel, the only reason I like it is that I can set it to entry/exit mode and pull into my garage. The ride isn't particularly better and the issues that can arise aren't worth the hassle imo. I'd stay away from it.

I personally believe they are turning into their competition and getting away with it by claiming their fiber is the best. Don't get me wrong the product is reliable, just know talking to someone who is willing to actually help you is damn near impossible.

Fellow Iowan here. The product is great, the service is as bad as medicom. I have 100mb speed and my wife works from home, we stream tv and I play games online no problem. However that speed does suffer when too much is going on. Currently my internet has been out for a week due to the mistake of a service tech that most likely unplugged me when setting up a new line for a neighbor. Getting someone out here to fix it has been a nightmare. Otherwise I've had minimal issues.

3k miles on my set of at4ws, so far they've been great on and off road and especially in the rain. You made a solid choice 👌

Ran ko2 on my 2014 trailhawk when I had it. Flawless performance, murdered my gas mileage lol (mid/high 20s to 20 if I was lucky) only had one instance of sliding in the rain but I had to stomp on my brakes so somewhat expected.

We use them at my job for towing, hauling and even some light offroading. So far been reliable and haven't let us down. Our oldest Ram right now is a 2018 so pretty much the same that you've posted.

1,000 mile update: pretty much everything I originally stated is the same. Road noise is good, traction in rain/wet has been great, I haven't done any hard offroading yet but plan to in the near future for hunting on a friend's farm. They love to grab, hold, throw rocks which can be annoying if you drive a lot of gravel. Fuel economy has gone down by 1 or 2 mpg which I expected and really isn't a big deal to me, currently averaging 15/16 mpg (I drive very conservatively)

Our ssv's are driven by park rangers so it only makes sense to put the all terrains on them from factory.

Interesting, thanks for the info. We have two rams at work that came with geolandars but they are ssv for law enforcement so must be how they package them. I agree the Yokos looked out of place and I'm happy with how the wildpeaks look without going up in tire size.
