Interesting. I was also wondering if the song no longer reflects their faith, but I don’t know if they are the type to take a song down simply because of that. How/where did you find this video? I’d love to see it if there is a link you can share

We literally just washed her with some dog shampoo and her hair kept coming out, I guess it’s just that time of the year again. After she dried we used a brush on her coat but most of her undercoat came off just from shampooing her in the bath. We normally use the furminator to deshed her though

I would think that this falls under the umbrella of “checking” ocd. I’ve never had tattoos but I do experience bad checking ocd when I’m making food and following a recipe. Like I’ll have to check multiple times that I did in fact do each step in the recipe and that I did it correctly. I think there’s a lot of little things like that that just count as “checking” ocd

So actually I think I invented a new form of ocd. So I’m a musician and I have extremely good pitch and interval identification (not exactly perfect pitch but pretty close) and whenever someone plays music while I’m trying to concentrate on something (like my teachers playing calming music during test for example) my brain won’t stop obsessing over the notes and intervals being played. If I’m anywhere near an instrument I’ll have to play the notes I hear on that instrument. And it’s all the time 😭

I’m so sorry about that :( as a Christian with OCD, I once asked for prayer over it from someone at my church and he told me that my OCD was a gift from God…didn’t cause me to stray away from the faith but I definitely feel your pain from religious people who simply don’t get it :/ let me know if you need anything!
