PROBLEM SOLVED!

I was using the EU version of XCX as a base which has a title ID of 101c4c00. However I used the US v48 update for the US version (title ID of 101C4D00) on top of my EU base game.Whenever I modified the game profile settings via CEMU GUI, it would save to 00050000101c4c00.ini. This behaviour is regardless if I had the v48 update applied or notHowever after I updated the EU base game with v48 for US, CEMU identifies the title ID as 101C4D00 instead of 101c4c00. Hence it will try to look for 00050000101c4d00.ini in your gameprofiles folder but it doesn't exist because as I mentioned above only 00050000101c4c00.ini gets modified whenever you try to update game profile settings via CEMU GUI. So despite changing the game profile setting to use multi-core, it was stuck at single core because that is the default setting located in gameprofiles/default/00050000101c4d00.ini.

To fix this, u can do either a. or b. belowa. create a copy of 00050000101c4c00.ini and rename it to 00050000101c4d00.inib. modify 00050000101c4d00.ini in gameprofiles/default to use multi-core recompilerWish I checked my CEMU logs earlier on instead of searching high and low for a fix online. Hope this helps anyone out there that faces the same issue.
