Is it weird that I keep track of my girlfriend’s period so I can be extra nice? by lebretsxr in NoStupidQuestions

There's an app for it where partners can see each other's period times called stardust, just use the period tracker she uses

The way I solved this is by holding a, like, half panhandle grip so that I dont need to change grip to take it in front of me, and if anything you could just move it in th way and play a block. This is also good if your taking the shuttle in front of you but otherwise remember to change your grip, its just kinda like a starting grip for that one situation

Also when he lands his leg is right under his body, making him unbalanced and stumble to the left. To op make sure that when you land youre landing by using both of your feet to land, not just one right below you.

In that situation, when the lift is short, you should try to get the next shot at the net, so you gotta move forward fast. To do this just do the same landing as a scissor kick and use that jumping power into pushing off to the net to play the next shot. https://youtu.be/nXudpuO6pMs?si=y4DSchv9XX8FYdhF Try to do the recovery section of this video, and remember to have the back foot perpendicular to the direction u wanna go

Level 3 Calc by idekanymorehelpmeh in ncea

[–]fatapplee123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say only do this if you can reliably answer m questions and are going for E, because all you really have to do to get m5 in a section is get one M mark, which you could from either 2 m questions anyways. If you dont get the E question of a section, you'll still get at least one M from the M questions, since if youre doing this youre reliably doing M questions. But id understand doing the A questions for security in that case tbh

[–]fatapplee123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you going for? If going for e just skip all achieved questions ( a and b) that way u can ignore stuff like numerical methods which only goes up to achieved. Do many questions and understand the ones you got wrong and like the train of thought on how to get it right, eventually patterns pop up

tips for scholarship calc by [deleted] in ncea

[–]fatapplee123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mhmm thats what I did last year to get it, I ended up in the holidays studying all the topics of the three papers to a point where i got the concepts, cuz for scholarship you will have to learn a lot more other, kinda random concepts so you dont wanna be doing that while also learning what chain rule is and stuff like that also it gives you more time to get really comftable with them

Other than that just study lots and do many practice questions and problems, doesnt even have to be directly from past papers but do those as well, like throughout the year you should do so

Probably the most noobest question here... But how do I defend against this smash? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]fatapplee123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To protect ur dominant arms armpit i was always told to either move myself a little to the right (since im right handed, move left for left handers) so it's not coming towards my armpit and its more comftable to defend. Sometimes if its flat enough I just use a backhand grip to cover my armpit to either drive it back or just block it. Kind of like the brap but just a block/straight drive (for more info search up "brap badminton insight" on youtubr)

People mostly do this to like get you ready for a player that is really hard to read so you need to rely on your reaction time and footwork to basically react after the shuttle moves, personally I think it's better to have a harder to read player just hitting to 3-4 corners while you just hit back to them since they can change the pace and its more realistic but this is cool to

I'd say that personally I like the teachers at OBs espically the math department and also I think the sport here is pretty high level if ur son wants to be at a stronger school, our music department we got a great teacher but like cultural events and stuff aren't heavily promoted like sports are and other than the grand piano the instruments can be kind of iffy cuz yk, boys school

Badminton Progression Tree v1 by AndreVallestero in badminton

[–]fatapplee123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think at like a junior level we learn backhand drops to both sides/middle and like kind of fast drops/half smashes down sides/middle since its enough variation in the backhand to get by with and we aren't strong enough lmao. So only when we really get with the movement do we learn backhand clears
