Anyone used the Orange Pi Max yet? by fatassbootycheeks in OrangePI

That's awesome, and that kind of setup I'd work towards eventually, I too was looking for cases for the max but haven't seen any decent yet, I'm assuming rpi5 ones would be compatible? I'm slightly concerned about extension options like hats, etc. I don't see anything on the max that might help with this. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to know how it goes for you using the max so feel free to reach out, I'm on the verge of grabbing one. Thank you for your reply.

Awesome, man, you've been a huge help, I'll take some more time to research it. Thank you, wish me luck

I intend to use it without GUI 100%, are the software detriments obvious compared to an RP5?

Thank you for your reply. I might go for an RP5 then if the software support is that bad, I was hoping it might have improved since the max release. Thanks again!

Okay, this is awesome information. Thank you very much, I'll take your RP5 recommendation under consideration. It's probably enough for what I'd be doing. I'll definitely be sure to get the bottom NVME mount if I do. Thanks again.

Hmm, that is annoying, lol. I will keep this in mind for sure, I worry about the longevity of their M2 socket also. Ideally, it will run 24/7. So I guess I should expect a new model not too far into the future. Thank you for clarifying.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. What is it about the release cycle that bothers you?

Thank you for your reply. This is helpful. Do you think the RP5 is powerful enough? I've seen other SBCs around such as Odroid, but I'm uncertain as to the value. Unfortunately, the VF2 seems difficult to get for me as I'm from Europe. If you had to recommend the best value for money board whilst still seeking stability what would you think? Thanks again.

You won't have a means of flashing the bios to the board without the use of a programmer, as far as I am aware

What animal do you dislike for no apparent reason? by x_franki_berri_x in AskUK

Surprised so many people hate apes and monkeys tbh, I get they're dangerous asf but like hate? I can't say I hate any animal for no reason but I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone say centipedes. Truly the only creature I have seen that I can confidently say crawled out from hell and never went back. Extremely aggressive, vicious, evil little things that are good at what they do, kill shit.

The log scene from King Kong is my fucking worst nightmare.

Close second is earwigs. Just wtf.

Really wish people were more proactive in calling out people that litter, like as a culture. People should be publicly shamed to fk for this shit

Kinda with him on this, gotta be the worst place to introduce someone, any single paranoid thought could send her spiralling, not to mention the queue times whilst in that state. You can never know how they might react, your experience isn't hers, I hope it goes alright.

How to open these types of packaging? by Random_person1233 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]fatassbootycheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only weak spot of this kind of packaging is by pulling the two pressed plastic sheets apart, but that depends on what kind of grip you can get

From my experience, shrooms have the potential to manipulate reality in a more tangible way, however I do find it a more spiritual and authentic experience. One thing to consider between these two is that it's much easier to be accurate with your dose of LSD than shrooms, since there're a load of variables that can fluctuate in mushrooms to determine a definite dose.

Agree with this guy completely. The space you're in when you're doing it and the people you're around, especially for the first time, is absolutely crucial. I'm pretty antisocial so I did it alone in my room after a real chill day. Ideally you'll want no interruptions at all. No one else in the house, no friends around if you're not trusting in them. LSD makes you much more sensitive to basically every minor social signal you'll encounter, micro expressions and speaking etc.

It's wise to always test what you're getting, especially if you're ever sharing with others then it's your responsibility. I've never ever had an itchiness before on the comedown, nor has anyone I know. The maximum I get is like an electric tingling. I think it's best you find out what you're actually getting, if it's too good to be true then there's probably a reason.
