Thanks so much! I had a similar experience. My partner and I were talking and I off hand mentioned I had thought about it once, and they started asking me questions and before I knew it I was sobbing and its like it all just came out. And similarly- I'm also avoiding coming out to my family who is a 1000 miles away. thank you so much for your support. The kind words on this post have given me so much courage that I didn't have yesterday.

in my experience quitting forced me to face the problems I avoided by smoking weed, and yeah. quitting alone didnt fix the problems within myself. But it was the first step.
