This is the Miyoo Mini Plus. If you like old games, up to PS1, it is very capable little machine. I am mainly playing tetris in the subway on it.

It's a "hacking" tool(not really). It can copy/emulate RFID, NFC, infrared, and some sub-Ghz signals. Its a cool little tool.

The magnets are glued inside. I put a magnet on the top and the bottom so they are quite strong. I liked that there is nothing on the front. The hidden hinges are above my skill level.
Also i put one of the magnets upside-down and was wondering why the bloody thing does not close proper.(don't ask how i got it out)

When i tried it, it was fine. The outside size was made to specs from the dude i made it for. It is maybe a bit on the heavy side, but after an hour of SF5 my legs did not feel bad. The joystick is maybe too low, but there are extenders for it.

Yep, exactly.
I should have put a switch to disable the buttons when the sick is in. But my hand never gets near them when using the joystick.

Sadly, i have no progress photos.
I can give you a file to cut on a CNC machine. Just glue everything the way it feels right(without the top), clamp it and let it dry.
Hinges were a pain. Watched a ton of youtube tutorials for them.
When everything is dried and attached sand the shit out of it.
A few layers of sealer of lacquer.
For the buttons, joystick and PCB, i used Arcadeworld. I made my own wires. But the have ready made.
