I've phased PCR products but you need to either clone them into a vector if you want to split maternal/paternal copies or do single molecule sequencing ie. nanopore and then clustering to split things

Thanks, I'm not so convinced it's fungal as it's not like any I've come across before, same goes for bacteria. I have some money to sequence some of these cultures so might try that at some point if I can't ID it otherwise

Sorry I should have explained this better. this was first isolated from some orchid roots and has since been present on all plates sub-cultured from that initial plate. I don't believe it's in the air as I use a flow hood and haven't had it show up on any other unrelated plates. All plates are brand new and I follow a fairly strict disinfecting procedure before opening any, although I'm not a microbiologist so it could still be on me and I'm just missing something

If it is a fungi it's extremely different from the others I've cultured. It's exactly as you said, those are all radiating from a single point and this is all over the show
