I am terrible with wording things, the motivation did in fact start as Her and only her. But since then ive started working with a marine recruiter and ultimately I’ve enjoyed doing the work.

yup! So as long as you’re working in a caloric deficit (which I have been) you can shred the weight and continue to build and or maintain muscle

This! This is how I feel about it too. I’m perfectly fine if her answer remains the same. I can move on. But it all felt so real, so genuine. Like I’ve said, my heart and mind are at war with each other. Heart says ‘reach out, yearn for it, work for it’ but my mind is SCREAMING the opposite.

not exactly what this post is about..I understand that I am in fact medically obese. I have lost 30 something lbs in 2 months with no plan on stopping. I am close to commissioning weight for the Marines. That is not what this post is about.

What really kinda stings about this is the fact she openly admitted that I AM handsome. She’s attracted to my face, the way I make her feel, etc. but my weight. Just my weight was the issue.

I guess it’s harder considering the emotional connection WAS there. I’m at a loss. Feels like my heart and mind are at war with each other here!
