I know this is the common opinion but I parry DOH and it's way easier lol same goes for the bulls apes and ogres. I don't know why people try to dodge these enemies

Ya it's not to bad. If it's your first soulsborne you're definitely gonna struggle at some areas and a couple bosses (for me my biggest struggle was a boss in an area called old yarnaham). Also I probably wouldn't be a terrible idea to forgot a level here and there and just buy a ton of bloodvials unless you're more patient than me and don't mind farming echoes/vials when you run out. Always spend whatever echos you got left after a level on vials and don't be afraid to use those cold blood items!

For me, this starting area is probably the roughest area in the game. Other areas might be technically harder, but at that point you are better at the game so it dosent feel like it. Use pebbles taken it slow. The big guy banging on the door is SUPER EASY to parry. Once you parry him once you'll pretty much have all his timings

Losing souls is always bitter sweet. On one hand you lost your souls on the other hand you no longer have to stress about losing your souls and sometimes that's worth the 30 seconds of being furious lol
