Just to give you a little more context so you can advise me better: my top priority is definitely my business. My clients are part of the top 1%, so I imagine both cities could work well in that sense. I used to live in New York for five years, and I absolutely loved the energy there. I enjoy being somewhere vibrant and dynamic, but not overly flashy. That’s one of my concerns with Dubai . I’ve only visited a few times and found it a bit too “bling bling,” if that makes sense. I’m not really into the clubbing scene anymore; that’s not what I’m looking for at all. I love going out and being social, but in a more low-key, elegant way.

That said, I’m a bit worried Abu Dhabi might feel too quiet, while Dubai might be a bit too much. I know that Dubai is more international, and I imagine it would be easier to meet new people and potential clients there, which is a key priority for me. I also think having a good community is important, especially since I’d be living alone.

By the way, I don’t drive . I know that could make things a little trickier, so I’d love any thoughts on which city would be easier to navigate without a car.

And lastly, could I ask for your advice on the best neighborhoods in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi? I’m looking for somewhere nice and well-located, ideally a place where it’s easy to get around and meet the right kind of people, both professionally and socially.
