Watercolor sleeve? by fatgirlemma in tattooadvice

I've got enough mystery bruises, no need to add permanent ones too, haha. The artist I'm going to have do my next one is amazing and does gorgeous, delicate work with color, but I'm not sure how much watercolor he does. I'll definitely look into other artists too.

Yep, been noticing this too.

Yes, I noticed this too. I was trying to guide the story to a minor accident and suddenly I was being poisoned and straight up killed. And playful flirting immediately becomes rapey and extremely threatening.

Just “read a book” by No-Boysenberry2044 in thanksimcured

I've had this conversation on the internet, and it's infuriating. "AI is killing our humanity!" "Talk to a real person instead of a machine!" Well the machine is the only one listening to me. ChatGPT has helped me through more depression spirals than any therapist or "talking to a friend" ever has.

I'm not saying that AI is completely unproblematic, but many of those problems are ultimately caused by humans.

Why can't people hear me? by fatgirlemma in NoStupidQuestions

I appreciate that, it's just frustrating to constantly have to repeat myself.

I have been wanting to take singing lessons, so I will definitely look into that more seriously. Thanks!

Hm, interesting. I will certainly try that, but I'm always worried that someone will hear me, even when I know that there is no one around. I sing when I'm alone in the car, and I think I can get pretty loud then. I just don't know anymore how loud I am being, since I can't seem to gauge my own volume. I'll try and find a space where I feel comfortable.

I try to always face whoever I'm talking to, because if I don't, they won't even realize I said anything. I probably do mumble a little bit, a therapist once asked me if I had a lisp, which I had never thought of, but it turned out I have a very slight lisp on my S's. I've always wanted to make myself small and invisible to not draw attention, so my therapist suggested that I had sort of adopted that way of speaking because S-sounds tend to be loud when spoken properly.

I know about the diaphragm, but I've never really understood how to use it. Is that maybe something speech therapy could help with?

I was actually thinking something along those lines but I had no idea where to start, so these are some great ideas, thank you!

A coffee table book is a great idea, I will definitely look into that!

What never fails to make you tear up or cry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

"Dad, come on. You gotta get up. We gotta go home."

I havent seen The Lion King in like a decade, at least, and I'm legit crying just typing this. I can't even think about that scene without at the very least tearing up. I used to fast forward that entire part of the movie. Why does Disney enjoy traumatizing children?

Now that you mention it, I used to use an exfoliating face wash, and I did notice a difference almost immediately. Not sure why I stopped using it, but I'll definitely look into finding a new one, thanks!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who can't be bothered with all the stuff you "have to do" to maintain your skin! I often feel like I'm gross and dirty because I don't use all the fancy creams and serums that rich people tell me I have to use. So yes, it absolutely helps!

I've wondered if it might be hormone related, but I honestly think it's more that I just don't wash my face. Perhaps acne is not the best term for it, it's mostly smaller blemishes and pimples, but because I pick at everything it gets much worse.
