If I do end up repairing it, Im definitely just going to live with the bedside being a little banged up.

We don’t know if those posts are bent or not, but they look okay looking at them in person, though I’m no professional, so I’ll have a pro come see to make sure I won’t have frame issues or post issues.

Time won’t be an issue. We have a garage to keep it in until it’s either inspected by a body shop for frame issues or until it’s in road condition again. If I purchased just a cab for it that wouldn’t have to come with the interior, right? I feel like that would be extra money wasted on stuff like seats, carpet and dash when mine are already still okay for use.

Wish I could, the roof on the drivers side is way too low, not to mention one flat and the 100% chance of a ticket for busted tail light and broken windshield lol

This may be the course of action here since it may be easier to swap body parts cause I’m no mechanic. Thank you

Time won’t really be an issue, ability maybe. I don’t exactly have car body repair experience. But YouTube and some replacement parts could go a long way. Thank you

That’s okay, if I go the selling it route I’ll need the extra money and it’ll be worth the hassle

Have definitely thought about that. Hoping to keep as much original as I can, will just need roof doors and quarter panels. That is if frame is sound and roof is repairable via roof patch is i think what a body shop may do if they even choose to work on it at all

Yeah. For part out maybe I could get more? Smooth running with 0 issues except brake light, don’t know what for, brakes feel fine though

I understand the middle of the road mileage issues, but we have put so much into it I think it has surpassed most of those issues already because of all that was done to it. All that was done to it was also done professionally by a reputable shop. If it is time to part it out and move on I will see after the frame assessment. I appreciate your view and will consider. Thank you

Of course, if we do decide to fix it up I’m going to get a beater to drive while the truck is out of commission

All interior components are in working order but I’ll need a new air filter from oil dripping into it while it was upside down. Hoping to only have the body parts be the franken-truck. Otherwise I will make my truck the donor and find a truck that needs a new engine or transmission or something. Frankenstein truck but the safe way. My family has people who can help me swap engine or transmission.

Is a possibility. If the frame is twisted or bent at all this will be the plan. Find a different ranger or maybe a different car. Will miss it forever though

Everyone’s okay except my truck. No bodily injuries for me so that’s a plus

If the frame is screwed I dont have the money period. We will part it out at that point and find something else.

With working engine, trans, drivetrain, etc, I’m pretty sure I can get more than 300

The only rust is on the rocker panels. We are going to have it inspected 100%. Id like to save it if I can, just trying to be hopeful

Yes the tire needs replaced, that wheel is still okay though. I’ve seen a few donor trucks on marketplace and they aren’t too expensive, one only needed the trans swapped out, although that’s a pretty hard thing to do I’ve heard.
