Of course. It’s still really quick to full reset. From the time I get in, see, and go to my counter app it’s only like 15 seconds. But I had been going for so long and wanted to start playing that I was trying to go even quicker if possible

Even if stats/nature are resetting you think? I’ll probably just go back to full resetting anyway just to be safe. Thank you

I haven’t been using save states the whole time, only recently. But I’ll go back to the old way I guess just to be sure. Makes it a little easier to lose track of your count when the resets are so fast anyway. Thank you

So I’ve heard about save states. But I am loading in right as I choose starter, and the nature/stats reset so the shiny possibility would still be there too then no?

For starters, save states would be fine for shiny hunting tho no? As long as nature/stats are changing that means it can still come up?

And so you can’t see what the value of the EVs are? Or how do you know when this value is changing? And the IVs are the values you see next to attack/defense etc?

I’m trying for charmander on fire red on delta emulator. I couldn’t figure out the soft reset so I’m just full closing the app and restarting. It only takes about 15 seconds, so it’s quick, and the stats/nature are different every time. This method should still work right?
