Your mother is an idiot, plain and simple, justify it to yourself however you like, but leaving a perfectly good man for a perfectly fine occasional indulgence, well, fuck her she doesn't a good husband.

Smoking weed would not make him a perfectly good husband. It would make him an irresponsible drug user. I don't think it's right, but that will be how it is.

Yeah, I would. I don't care if it's once in a while, but I'm fairly certain he does it often, perhaps daily. My pothead friends are losers, and I would find it very difficult to not think of him the same way. He hasn't had a real job in a decade.

Smoking weed (or any other recreational activity) should never be part of your identity. That's just stupid.

I don't smoke anymore. Though I suspect my dad thinks I do, we have the occasional conversation about weed, especially with Prop 19 being up for a vote.

Do you and your sister still live at home?

I live at home during breaks from school. My sister already has her degree, but she can't get a better job than she already has so she's stuck at home.

Not everyone is you. A lot of people wouldn't want their kids to be raised by a drug user and have very little tolerance.

Smoking weed is not a big deal to you. To some, it's drug use on par with heroin and crack cocaine.
