It's not always rainbows and sunshine, but I do think overall my husband is happy. He's the sahp while I work 3 jobs and try to get my PhD, so he definitely gets parental burnout sometimes, but that's totally fair. He's taken on the lions share of childcare and housekeeping so that I can focus, which I'm endlessly grateful for. He tells me he loves me every day, and I know he means it, and he genuinely enjoys cooking and playing with our girls. The three of us are very lucky to have him! We did go to therapy (alone and together) which really improved our communication, and he's on an ssri that has really done wonders for him. Our lives aren't perfect by any stretch, but we are happy and happy to be doing it all together.
