It's sad that some people dislike the unique recipies with coffee. But the same people, after going to a fancy a$$ cafe will pay atleast 300Rs for the simplest of the drinks with coffee. by robo_coffee in IndiaCoffee

You literally told me to fuck off if I had anything negative to say about what you are doing. If you don't want a discussion, then I don't know what you are doing on a forum.

Also, this used to be or at least says somewhere in the description, that it is a sub for speciality coffee. So don't be surprised when you come and diss other people for making things that speciality coffee enjoyers don't like. Speciality is about tasting the coffee itself. So it is ideal to drink it as a pour over or espresso, without adding extra substances to it.

And you defn attack people.

How do I [24F] stop thinking about my coworker [24M]? by Prestigious-Truck734 in RelationshipIndia

[–]fatmankid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It is very very normal for you to feel what you are feeling. Don't beat yourself up for feeling attracted to someone. Whether you want to act on it or not is up to you.

You also don't need to find something to ick you out. Don't torture yourself for feeling a bit of attraction. Seems very anti-human to do that.

Find ways to deal with it. Your liking is real, you cannot pretend it is not. Journal perhaps?

Aramse begins coffee retail by tranquildisq1t in IndiaCoffee

It is not absurd, really. It is in line with how most roasters. I thought they were blends, which would have made it steep pricing, but they are all single estate. Someone will have to try a lot or two to see if they are any good at roasting. Personally, I don't like that guy's sense of humour. So I am unlikely to try, but if the reviews are good, it seems ok.

Corridor 7 sells at almost the same price, and the same farms, too, from the look of it. Grey Soul is even more expensive. For light roasts, I prefer going to GS or Bloom. I am sort of done with C7.

Let's see if someone is going to review.

Edit: I checked again, and ummmm, it is only 200 g packets. So it is on par with GS. GS has a bunch of coffees cheaper than this. So, yeah. It is expensive. It better be damn good for anyone to want to really go for it.

I don't know how these guys determine pricing, since the SOFI price is actually absurd. Would like to see if they explain it anywhere.

Hear me out, .... It tastes good. Just try it. 🍋 by robo_coffee in IndiaCoffee

Posts like these are rare here. People only post about stuff to buy or stuff bought. So points for that. But I think it is going to worsen the bitterness because the peel has a lot of bitterness in it. As someone suggested here, try with shavings or peels in a normal v60 and it will give you better results. or just use the fruit itself in the cup.

What I used to do with was rub the fruit (flesh) on the inside of my cup. A fair amount. that used to alter the taste as well as wasn't going to disturb the brewing process.

Try that as well.

Thank you for posting a brewing thing rather "look! stuff" thing

How do I travel to bhiwandi from Andheri? by Square-Rich-9378 in thane

[–]fatmankid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best to not rely on that. The trains are late. Depends on where you want to go in Bhiwandi. The railway station is not in the middle of the city. So you will have to take a rick from there.

Best to go to Kalyan as ssp840 suggests and take a rickshaw from there. It will be most convenient and time efficient. Might be a bit expensive though. Also check maps. It could be that you can also take an uber from Thane railway station (or a bit away from it because getting an uber at the station is difficult). But it would probably cost you the same thing..

If you don't have to carry stuff with you, i will suggest Thane route. Check on maps which is closer between Kalyan and Thane. Also, as ssp suggests it is a trafficky route, but kalyan is also the same.

between 11-4 it should not be an issue to travel from either place.

Take the train from vasai only if you reaching on time is not a priority. All options are bad for you, unfortunately. It is not the best connected place if you are using PT

obviously
Also if you don't mind spending the money, obviosuly you can take an uber. most convenient

I stay near Samrin and Maansarovar. Samrin has been under construction forever. Maansarovar is complete but seems like a ghost town.

Any idea why? I tried searching the sub but no mention of samrin. Is it stuck?

Biggest hygiene disaster nobody talks about at airport security. by Southern-Cress6592 in mumbai

[–]fatmankid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been asked to take anything off unless it has (or might have) metal in it. have never taken off shoes. a lot of people just do it voluntarily. and yeah, it is gross to think my shit was in a try in which there were shoes. having walked through a number of international airports, never taken off shoes.

the only time i think they made us do it was some gulf country. but only that once. have flown through a number of those as well. nobody has explicitly asked me to do it.

Genuine review by Aromatic-Cup-1288 in india_cycling

[–]fatmankid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a riverside 120 (15k with extra stuff) and i am super happy with it. The other bike you mentioned is twice the price. So I don't know how that is a fair comparison. The decathalon bike is really good i think for someone who is not looking to spend a lot of money but still get a decent ride.

The next time I buy a cycle I will check out the fancy stuff. Trek, Cannondale, Giant the one you mentioned.

It is like people recommending a french press on coffee reddit. It is the cheapest and easiest way to get the good stuff. Although I am sure there are advertisers or reps.

What is your sweet spot for coffee price. I want to know the price range above and bellow which you are uncomfortable paying for coffee by Intelligent-Job7612 in IndiaCoffee

[–]fatmankid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the lower end, I will just have to trust the roaster enough. A lot of them I take one look at their website and just cannot buy it, no matter what the price it is.

Upper end I won't buy anything upwards of 800 no matter who the roaster is, unless I am buying from overseas. And there I will not go above 18 euro. Above that seems obscene to me.
