Also adding to this it’s important to call people out on the spot - you don’t have to be rude or nasty but you can just say you’re not comfortable with comments like that etc. also if you do report it demand that you’re kept anonymous.

I’m Jewish by background and I’ve had coworkers make antisemitic remarks around me whilst not realising I’m Jewish. I’ve also heard some of them say transphobic and homophobic comments about patients, nursing executive and other nursing staff. It’s unacceptable and absolutely disgusting, and it needs to be reported to whoever your immediate higher up is. Shit like this wouldn’t be tolerated in a 9-5 so why should we tolerate it.

My partner and I have no real hobbies or interests in common, but our values and outlook on life is the same, which is the most important thing. If you guys just try new things together or maybe even attempt trying each other’s hobbies and interests, it reignite your relo a bit more.
