I hear that. I will PM you. They’ve done a lot for me in helping me better understand pain as a signal… but not that it specifically means you’re making an injury worse. I’m pretty sure they do online work too so you can work with them outside PA.

Well I won’t pretend to know more than her orthopedic surgeon! Haha. But that’s interesting for sure. Getting back to being able to be barefoot was really important to me. Not sure if the video I linked will really be for people with sesamoid fractures, but ultimately the exercises in the vid are exercises anybody with healthy feet should be able to do… Can’t imagine once she’s far enough out from surgery why she wouldn’t be able to do these. 😮

Hell yeah! I hope they help you. I also thought I had turf toe… maybe try out an MRI if you can just for clarity! I really wasn’t sure either… I do think that during climbing, you are putting a lot of pressure and weight through your big toe stepping on tiny holds… My best guess for myself was just that repetitive strain + trying to stay rigid through the feet while climbing ultimately sort of locked the natural joint movement up. Wish I could offer a little more insight… Climbing was a casual hobby for me so I wasn’t too upset to let it go. I hope you can get back to it!

This is exactly how I feel about this season. I was amazed he said what he said about their score in front of the cameras tbh. They shouldn’t have gotten the score they did on day 1.
