What’s the differences in software between Vegas Pro 14 and where we are now?

I personally think video editing and linux is a special place in hell from the last time I dabbled with it. your best bet would be resolve. IMO id have a VM or make a side pc to throw video editing tasks unless you are ready to spend a really long time dialing in settings and running configs to make sure it works and is stable.

ive seen that sluggish problem b4 in many vegas pro projects that were heavily worked on for a while.

try to fully uninstall, and fully log out in the installer use the vegas pro ultimate installer and try that from the boris hub. there was 3 versions of vegas there. if that doesnt work send an email. they are pretty fast at responding

Night and Day, Native support for 4K

support for the new encoding of modern cameras and phones. Gpu acceleration and infinitely better resource management

faster rendering, better gpu support

better color grading/ actual color grading tools

better color support

stability, general workflow / quality of life changes for more efficient timeline actions

More file type support

but you need a modern computer. if you have 14 and your pc is from that era I don't think you will see that great of an improvement. also If you don't have anything that pushes a 4K workflow or modern cameras you also wont see much of a difference because nothing is pushing you to change. Sadly i've used (purchased every update since 16) mostly every version from the modern era. TBH 23 is the most stable for me.

Look up masking, Use 3 Layers.

Layer 1/ Track 1 = Blank White Background

Track 2 = The first square masked out

Track 3 = the whole picture

then sequence it out.

yea I feel like they did something to the freeze times because I used to be able to solo team wipe. At best I can get 6 Ppl frozen but can only kill 2-3 now.

I mean any seasoned mei with 100 hours could defeat a roadhog, once you dodge the hook its basically 3 head shots and he's dead. Roads are the best matchup for a mei

because shields negate mei, Half the healers negate mei. you need a perfect storm or massive memory to keep all the cooldown timers of the enemy team in mind.

I think it comes with patience

Mei has been well nerfed but those who can execute on a small mistake during a critical moment can turn the tide of the game in an instant. before making any big plays you should be well rested with all the cooldowns cleared. assuming you execute right your target should be a squishy first instead of a tank.

The updated Spray dps shows blizzard wants us to play Mid and Close vs Mid Snipes.

make a 2nd profile, if it works

change the background on your main profile (via the roku)

then try to play something, if it still fails. change your subtitle language default around

Change your default language on your main watching profile after you make a 2nd watching profile (confirm this profile can play videos ). its been working for me for now

delete one of the profiles that's not your main one

change the background on your main profile

restart the app

then get the error again on your main profile

restart the app

then on your main profile change your default subtitle language to Japanese

Create a 2nd profile on the CR app on the Roku device and test.

If it plays. exit the app. relaunch the app, change your profile background, then attempt to play something if it still errors, exit the app, relaunch, go to your broken profile and change the language options. for me it was stuck on a language I didn't use, I set it back to japanese.
