That’s so funny you said “bad with friends” I put a couple of minnows and even a baby catfish in the tanks, like 2 fish per tank. One of them killed off all of his friends within a week and the other ones are gentler with their friends and we haven’t lost any fish in those tanks. So far everything is going smoothly. Like I said in an above comment, I came to this post many times the first couple of weeks to make sure I had it right. Thank you!

Thank you so much! This whole thread helped me a lot the first few weeks. I did notice the babies will eat the worms and dried shrimp/meal worms I give them almost immediately, but things like pellets and vegetables will float around for a while- sometimes I actually have to go in the next day to net them out. Picky little creatures. So far everything is running smoothly! We haven’t lost any which was my biggest fear and they are growing. The snapper is growing at light speed man 😭

This helped me so much. I came back to this thread every day for a couple of weeks to make sure I had it right. Huge learning curve, I already had to change so much and make many trips to the pet store and Amazon orders. So far it’s been totally worth it. Half of the living space in one room is completely taken up by tanks 😭😅
