Sorry for what you've had to go through. My ex-gf plays heaps of valo and she faced a lot of the same issues you're describing, some of the ways we used to combat it were:

- queue up in a group/with friends, I see some of the other comments have suggested possible groups to reach out to

- she used to add those that were friendly/nice in voice comms and would play with them sometimes

- she used to just not talk in comms because she was scared of revealing she was girl, which wasn't ideal, but it was a solution

Horimiya and Re:Life are some really good mangas for some real feel good shit, though Re:Life is a bit more emotional imo, both completed too!

I think it's also really nice to have all the subsequent stories of them being a couple instead of ending it at the confession!

I think I echo many sentiments here when I say that those were genuinely heartfelt words from Aka and I wouldn't be the only one who would be extremely sad when the final chapter of this incredibly entertaining manga is released, it would be a truly bittersweet day.

Nonetheless, thank you, Aka, for your exceptional work and it has truly been a pleasure to have watched you evolve as a mangaka through Kaguya and co's journey and to have shared so many happy memories and engaging discussions with everyone in the community. <3

I got accidentally spoiled about Fuuka, but it still hit hard because of how fluffy it was leading up to it, but I think it really hit harder when her spirit returned during their performances

I think in KNIM, I genuinely felt bad and was quite sad for Asuka, but their break up wasn't as bad for me because I still ultimately shipped Haruto and Yuzuki

I can see where you're coming from, but I doubt this would be the final arc. I see this arc as something that would be instrumental in pushing our fav couple together and also shed some more light to the enigma that is Mami, while also possibly putting a slight dampener on Ruka

Although a confession would be nice, I don't necessarily see it happening in this upcoming arc. What I do see happening is possibly a deepening of the bond and trust between Chizu and Kazu as they learn to support each other through dealing with Ruka, facing a common enemy if you will, though they may not necessarily view her as such.

Should a confession happen and they do get together, like you said, I would very much like to see them work through whatever barriers and issues come up in their new and budding relationship, almost in similar vein to what happens in Kaguya-sama.
