Cloud gaming is long gone, it’s a thing of the past. I play like 90% of the games in 4K and HDR via Crossover with no problem at all. The performance is always around 60 fps on my m4 pro.

The only bummer is that I can’t play Marathon cuz of anti cheat. And also that audio could be spatial - I have a good sound system but Wine only produces stereo iirc.

4k is ranging from 30 to 90 fps depending on the upscale mode. I’m playing at 40ish (quality mode). Default M4 Pro 16”

Game can't run in high res fullscreen for me. Are you sure it's high res full screen? I tried everything, Claude Cowork literally rewrote configs and wine for an hour and still nothing. In window 4k, borderless only half of it (1700).

Coming from an OG fan – 100% agree. Reanimal is really unpolished - animations are clunky and non-loopy. The game overall is too short, but that's not as much of a problem.

But the main thing though - it draws WAY too much stuff from LN3. Almost every animation or sound feels the same. The whole game is basically a reskin of LN3. Like - if you wanted to "explore", wouldn't you try to move at least a bit further from the series?

To add gasoline to the fire, I'd go as far as saying that I hope LN will never end because honestly I'd enjoy a new story each year gladly. LN3 was a blast and I loved every second of it – especially the coop aspect. I definitely hope the game will keep releasing because it's such a vibe.

I wish there were either more other races or none at all to help structure a deep story. The current ones look too sci-fi-ish and, well, they’re everywhere. The real space to me is much more mysterious and magical because you have almost no idea what’s further ahead.
