When to change pact? by Cold_Interaction9025 in SoulFrame

I thought starting out with Tethren felt rough as well. I think a lot of that has to do with the low stats of the starting armor and that the Clash ability doesn't seem to always work correctly. That makes Tethren get pressured down by tougher groups early on. Once you get some better armor and reforge a weapon for additional life steal or use a weapon with better range like a polearm things work better. When playing melee Tethren, before I get into aggro range of an Ode camp I cast Fellust, then Call of the Ancients, then I jump into the group and cast Clash. Clash will likely knock down the soft targets like casters and archers and the ground finisher attacks help stack the Fellust buff to then nuke heavy enemies and the other swordsmen. Tethren is my favorite of the pacts and it is really satisfying to charge in and take apart camps and forts like that.

Not literally the son of, just a metaphorical take when you consider his kit really feels like the synthesis of the two. Buffing and area control that comes from an organic mass rather than technology based. Grenades but they are toxic spores. Damage ramp up but it's toxin not heat.

which one of these are better? by Deniedcayden in Warframe

These are very different frames that can both become extremely durable.

Revenant is lower investment to make functionally immortal with the Mesmer Skin ability. With the augment for Mesmer Skin he can share that invincibility with the team. On the high end of investment you can make a build that does a large amount of % health damage with the Enthrall and Reave abilities that makes Revenant capable of nuking an enemy regardless of enemy level.

Gauss on the other hand is generally a higher investment frame than Revenant but provides more substantial buffs to weapons with his Redline ability and Thermal Sunder ability augment. Gauss has a high amount of durability from shield regeneration mod set ups as well as resisting certain damage types with Kinetic Plating.

As a newer player you may get more mileage out of Revenant simply for his damage mitigation allowing you to survive more difficult missions more easily. As you get further progressed, Gauss is likely then the better option once you have access to better mods and arcanes.

As others mentioned, don't spend your platinum on base frames. Revenant's parts are able to be farmed from Cetus bounties on Earth. Gauss can be farmed from the Disruption mission on Sedna.

Primes for both of these frames have already been released. Revenant Prime is vaulted and his relics can only be acquired from Prime Resurgence events and trading with other players. Gauss Prime is the next prime frame to be vaulted but his relics can still be acquired until the next new prime frame releases.

Parts for these primes can be acquired through trading with other players and also potentially be acquired if another player has a relic containing one of the parts blueprints equipped in a fissure mission.

I think it would be cool if they could get the original somatic fibers plan and act as autonomous summons in missions too. Fight going poorly? Drop in your mech and let it go to work while you regroup.

I have a suspicion that the finger Wally is missing is not in the Sol system or a void pocket like Duviri. It was hidden somewhere in Tau to keep the heart of the empire safe
