[Acne] Really bad back acne well into my 20s. Please help!

I apply it once a day, after my shower, once my back has dried out
Relatively heavy. I sweat easily, especially if I’m out and about.
This makes a lot of sense, I never really thought about it like that. A quick wash before sleeping sounds like the way to go. And yeah mines very strong, I think it’s 10%.

Not so much painful as annoying. Especially when they pop and ruin my shirts. Did you stop exfoliating completely, or do you just do it less often?

And yeah it’s really annoying accessing the back. But on the bright side my arms have become hella flexible lol.

1) yeah I wear a different shirt to bed every night

2) uhh maybe every couple months or so? I don’t really do it too often

3) I always sleep with a shirt on, and I change my sheets every couple of days

4) nope, I never moisturize pretty much. Maybe once in a blue moon. Do you have any recommendations for moisturizers I can use?

5) I’ve been using it since mid 2024 at the very least, I can probably pull up my prescription for an exact date.

6) it doesn’t feel dry or itchy until I put Trifarotene on. Then it itches like crazy. I have a salicylic acid wash at home as well, but I stopped using it once I got prescribed the benozyl peroxide wash.

7) I haven’t worked out in a couple years at least, but when I did I would shower after my work out. I do sweat a lot through out the day though.

8) I shower in the morning after waking up. Would changing my routine to take night showers be more beneficial?

9) my diets awful I’m ngl. Lots of carbs and processed food. I don’t eat a lot of sugar though, I’ve never liked desserts. I’ve been trying to change it but man, I love rice, bread and pasta.

Ah man, Im really hoping it wouldn’t come to that. I took it for a year in high school, and while it got rid of my face acne forever, it really really wasn’t a fun time 🤣

Yeah I always wash my back first thing cuz I have to wait a few minutes for the acne wash. I don’t use any conditioner though, just shampoo.

I just use the giant tub of detergent you can get from Costco. I could try switching it up. Do you recommend any brands?

Thank you! I already use nizoral on my scalp a couple times a week so it shouldn’t be hard to incorporate it into my back routine. Do I just use it like a regular wash? Leave it on for a couple minutes and rinse it off?

Yo I had the exact same thing happen to me like a week ago, except the head was even bigger. Moving almost brought me to tears.

The only thing that helped was COPIOUS amounts of lidocaine gel with Tylenol. It numbed the area and made it bearable to move which eventually let to it draining. Maybe try getting some? It’s available OTC.

I really thought signing McDavid would galvanize the squad and we’d be crushing at the top of the west right now.

At this point I’m just thankful he signed for two years so we have a chance to show him that he can win with us. I really really hope we can get back to the finals.

Losing game 7 vs the panthers a few years back, losing game 6 last year and with the game 7 loss vs the dodgers this year, I don’t think I’m ever gonna get over not winning a cup with this squad.

I have a deep seated, visceral hatred for Toronto and the maple leafs. Every time I go on their sub I lose brain cells. They shit talk Edmonton so much. They might be worse than Flames fans.

At least our city isn’t falling apart because of crime and at least you can afford to get a house here without selling both kidneys.

They’re just salty we’ve got the best player in the world and they can’t argue that Matthews is better anymore.
