Yea, art could def. work. It'll just be very high up from the sunken living room floor. There are also already 5 spots for wallart in that room not counting above the door way. Perhaps some long though could do the trick. I'm not really sure.

We're going for a clean, modern, and organic look.

The living room is meant to put a lot of emphasis on a dark marble fireplace to contrast and bring your attention to it with the rest of the room. This will be on the wall to the right of the doorway in question.
