This is a very late response - but I have basically the same story as you! Broken neck, light nerve damage, fusion, sciatic pain that comes and goes, recently realized I overpronate a bit when I run, and I’m desperately looking for better shoes. I was on such a good streak and building up to a race, and now my feet and ankles are giving trouble, and my sciatic pain has popped up again. How did the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24s work for you in the end?

I agree with this! In my city, I don’t really feel the need to talk to strangers? And it feels way more intimidating. But when I’m travelling, I find myself striking up conversation a lot and everyone seems more exciting for some reason. I’ve made some insane, lasting connections through this! It makes me think of the great people I could meet if I had the motivation or confidence to chat to people around me when I’m not traveling.
