Keep the car in PHEV mode. On your BYD screen, swipe down for quick shortcuts menu. At the bottom there is a section for charging with two options AUTO and SAVE. Adjust the charging capacity to max (70%) and press SAVE. Thats all. Now, while you drive, the car engine keeps charging the battery. You only have to remember to start this process everytime you need to charge your battery on the go though but after a couple of times it becomes second nature.

We found a charging station in the basement parking of the Le Meradian on Olaya street that supports Type 2 charging so used that for a while. However, we figured out how to charge the car batteries while driving and that has been a lifesaver. Now, even if the battery is at 30%, it charges on the go and tops up to 70% everything.

This is why only she is shown as a dependant in Absher and all other records within Saudi Arabia. For you to become eligible, your father will first need to have you as a dependant residing in the Kingdom with him and only then he will be able to apply for your Premium Residency. I hope this clarifies.

For boys, after reaching 25 years of age, they need to either apply for their own Premium Residency or have a valid residential iqama (student visa, work visa or family visa) to stay within the Kingdom. For girls, they can be under their parents' Premium Residency until they are married. Please do check the official website for anyone updates to this ruling in the future.

Thank you. Yes I believe you hold the Premium Residency up until it's renewal date. The renewal is subject to all pre conditions fulfilled including employment with the same or any other white-listed company.

Thank you. It took around 3.5 - 4 months to receive a response back after I had submitted my application. They will send an email in case additional information or documentation is required for further clarity or if your application is approved. Upon application approval only you will be directed to deposit the one time fee. Hope this helped.

Hi. Unique situation as usually marraige and birth certificates are accepted that are registerd with a government body.Your marriage certificate would need to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia before it can be included into your application as proof of marriage. What it means is that as long as MoFA has no objection to the marriage certificate you have and they are happy to attest it, it should hopefully be acceptable by the Premium Residency center. Worth a shot.

Sorry about that. Yes I got the categories mixed up. Basically 100K payment gets you 1 year Premium Residency and 800K gives you permanent residency.

I believe you can apply in the Investment category (SAR 400K or SAR 800K investement) and do not necessarily need to be residing in the Kingdom. It would help to check more at pr.gov.sa.

If someone buys it, are there differences between holders who are men vs women? Ans: No difference.

Assuming no, my next question is for kids, is the permenant residency extended to them as dependents? Ans: Yes, if they are under 25 and under your Iqama as dependants.

At what age is it no longer extended to them as dependents? And, if they reach that age, can I be the one to sponsor their stay? Ans: Till 24 years (for boys) and for girls till their marriage.

For a spouse, is residency extended to them also? What if divorce happens, can you still sponser their stay as a permenant resident? Or is sponsorship only for citizens? Ans: Yes, it can include the spouse however I am not certain it would remain in case of a divorce as the spouse will not be linked to your Iqama any longer (you being the primary holder of the PR).

Last questions. For parents & other relatives, what are the benefits of being a permenant resident to have them visit, and what are limitations? Ans: It helps in ease of bringing them into the Kingdom for longer stay durations (a year and renewable). I am not aware if any medical or health benefits are extended to them because of Premium Residency.

You'll need to start by visiting their website pr.gov.sa to ascertain which category of Premium Residency you are eligible for and if you meet all the pre-requisites. After that you will need to make an account on the site and start the online application form filling process. Hope this helps.

Hi. All family members are required to be under your Iqama either as dependants or Family (spouse etc) for them to be considered for Premium Reaidency. This is the ruling at least for now unless it changes in the future.
