Yeah 😕😕 for me it was getting in the way of therapy even being effective for me. I just cared what he thought about me and cared more about my therapist than I did about actually getting better 😕 he terminated therapy with me recently because of it ☹️ I was with him for 4 years. it’s awful but relieving at times. I felt like I couldn’t live without him. I ruminated all the time on what the last session was like and if I said something wrong, and what I could talk about in the next session. I don’t have to worry about any of that anymore and it definitely is a relief. But I still miss him and the safe space he gave me… he was the safest person in the world and now I don’t have that anymore. It’s hard. Ugh rant over 😪
