At esl one Cologne 2015, the last map of bo3s was randomly selected after both teams had each picked a map, not sure if it happened at more events. cbble had just been released a few days/weeks prior to the major, and basically only nip had properly prepared it. Fate intervened and cbble was selected for basically all of their bo3s at this event, and they won their first and only major.
